Three new rail ferries are to be built for the existing service between Baltiysk (Kaliningrad) and Ust-Luga in Russia, to replace the two existing rail ferries. The first 200m-long ferry, with capacity for 66 railcars, could be in service by 2019. The costs are estimated at US$200M, of which US$90M would come from Moscow.
