Concern over Singapore customs plan

The Business Action to Stop Counterfeiting and Piracy group (BASCAP) has criticised the Singaporean Government’s plan to reform its customs procedures for cargo relayed over its airports and seaports. It believes the administration’s proposed measures, which would waive the need for manifests to be submitted on cargo being transhipped, could lead to more counterfeit goods being traded.
