SAL Heavy Lift GmbH, the Harren & Partner affiliate, is expanding its management team and developing its digital competences by creating a new position, Chief Information Officer, with joint managing director Claes Mathies adding the position to his existing responsibilities. In addition, SAL has appointed Sören Bibow as CFO. He has joined the company after 20 years in senior management positions with HSH Nordbank, Deutsche Schiffsbank and Bereberg Bank.
Kay Goldenstein has joined AAL to manage its new Europe Asia Liner service, joining the company from Zeamarine, where he was senior chartering manager. Before that he was manager, eastbound for Rickmers-Linie’s North America-Europe service.
Michael Fenger has joined Norvic Shipping Europe as COO and global head of chartering. He has joined the company after 10 years as CEO of Copenship, where he set up commercial offices in Copenhagen for different dry bulk ship owners and operators.
Budd Lake, NJ, USA: Consolidated Chassis Management has promoted Michael Mitchell to SVP and COO. A 30-year industry veteran, Mitchell has been with the company since its launch in 2005. Before that he held several management positions at Matson Terminals, Sea-Land Service and CSX Lines.
