The port of Saint John in New Brunswick, Canada, has announced a new weekly call from CMA CGM.

Port Saint John will get a weekly call on CMA-CGM’s Cagema service, beginning in the week of August 21st, connecting the port with CMA-CGM’s transhipment hub in Kingston, Jamaica.

“The addition of CMA-CGM to the services available to shippers and receivers in the region and beyond provides even more opportunity to access new markets with their products. CMA-CGM’s technical specialization with reefer containers is a vital addition to the existing offerings at Port Saint John” noted Jim Quinn, President & CEO of Port Saint John.

In January this year DP World took over the container terminal at the Port of Saint John under a 30-year lease.
