Rijeka expansion under way

The Croatian City of Rijeka is investing €26M in expanding the Brajdica container terminal at the Port of Rijeka.

A part of the so-called Rijeka Gateway project, the expansion is being financed by a loan from the World Bank and from government funds. The terminal is being extended by 330m, which will add almost 50,000 m2 of new surface area.
