NewsQube commenced “normal automated operations” at the import/export terminal (IMEX) of the new Moorebank rail facility near Sydney in May and June this year.
Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has announced an order for a total of 27 heavy counterbalanced lift trucks, including 20 Eco reach stackers, for Yilport operations in Europe and Turkey
The order package is completed by four ECH mast trucks and three FLTs, whose lifting capacity has not been reported. The order was booked by Cargotec last month. Deliveries are scheduled to start before the end of September and be completed during Q1 2023. The agreement includes extended warranty and service contracts for all equipment to be delivered.
Today, Yilport Holding operates 22 marine ports and terminals globally: five in Turkey, seven in Portugal, two in Spain, two in Sweden (both in Gävle) and one each in Norway, Malta, Italy, Peru, Ecuador and Guatemala. In addition, YILPORT operates five dry terminals in Turkey and one in Sweden.
Yilport Gebze and Gemport in Turkey will together receive four Eco reach stackers, one ECH and one FLT. Gävle Terminal in Sweden will receive six Eco reach stackers, one ECH and two FLTs. The Taranto terminal in Italy will receive two Eco reach stackers. In Portugal, five Eco reach stackers will go to Setúbal, one Eco reach stacker and one ECH to Liscont in Lisbon, and two Eco reach stackers and one ECH to Sotagus (Santa Apolónia) in Lisbon.

The value of the order has not been disclosed, but must be some way north of €10M.
