XCMG coming for port equipment market

China’s Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co Ltd (XCMG) is making a major push into the port equipment market. In 2022, the company started production at a new ‘Port Machinery High-end Intelligent Industrial Development Project Base’ in Xuzhou, China, where it expects to build 2,000 port machines, including reach stackers, FLTs, gantry and STS cranes each year.
