Aarhus gets the green light

The Port of Arhus (Aarhus) finally received permission to start Phase II of its container terminal development in mid-August. The port is an autonomous body which is able to attract inward investment and has no access to taxpayers’ money. However, it is governed by the elected officials of the City of Aarhus, which has a controlling interest in the port’s Board.
